Long liners of Sajo complies with fisheries organization regulations to protect ETP (Endangered, Threatened or Protected) by an incidental fishing. Crews of all vessels comply with company guidelines, and if there is a revision of the regulations, the company shall notify the vessel immediately, and the crew shall be familiar with the notified regulations.

In case of the catching of sharks, all parts of sharks should be stored except the head and guts.
Fins shall not exceed 5% of the total shark weight stored in a vessel when unlading or transshipping from carriers at the initial docking port. In addition the carcass and fins must be unloaded or transshipped together at all times.
The fin should be match with the bodies of sharks to check the pair. -

If whales, dolphins, and whale sharks are near the vessels before a start of fishing, vessels move to other area to avoid any catch of these species. -

Put in efforts to reduce deaths and increase survival rates of sea turtles by releasing them in the safest manner possible. Follow FAD guide lines on mitigation of Bycatch recommended by each RFMOs
Use long line cutters, dehookers and landing nets on bycaught sea turtles, and put forth all efforts to revive bycatch through means including manual resuscitation, before releasing at sea. Using most humane methods possible.
All incidents involving sea turtles are to be reported monthly to headquarters in a designated form
